Peer Support Services
What Are Peers and How Do They Help Me?
At Courageous Transformations, we believe that recovery is not a solo journey and that having the right support system is crucial. That's why we offer peer-support services to all of our program participants, providing them with a caring and understanding team of Certified Peer Support Specialists (CPSWs).
Our CPSWs are individuals who have gone through the program and understand the ups and downs of the recovery journey. They offer non-judgmental support, guidance, and resources to individuals seeking recovery. Our CPSWs can help participants navigate challenging moments, celebrate their successes, and provide encouragement to help them stay motivated and focused on their recovery.
What Do Peers Do?
The benefits of our peer-support services go beyond emotional support. Our CPSWs can also help manage requests and find resources for a variety of needs, including housing, employment, and domestic abuse aid. They understand the challenges of navigating life in recovery and can help participants access the resources they need to succeed.
How They Help
At Courageous Transformations, we understand that peer-support is an essential component of recovery, and we offer it as part of our medication-assisted treatment program. The connection and understanding that comes with peer-support can help individuals feel less isolated and more motivated to continue with their recovery journey. Our CPSWs meet people where they are in their recovery journey, providing emotional support or sharing their own experiences.
If you're participating in our program and looking for additional support, our CPSWs are here to help. Contact us to learn more about our peer-support services and how they can help you on your journey towards lasting recovery.
