What is Telehealth?
TeleHealth is what it sounds like; Healthcare via the phone or computer. This can take place in multiple ways. Your healthcare provider calls you via your phone, or maybe they video call you on another platform. Essentially, telehealth is a means by which we can still administer care, but remotely. Courageous Transformations is a hybrid facility, meaning we offer both in-person and telehealth services.
I'm A New Patient, What Should I Do?
First off, welcome to our program! We're so glad you've chosen to embark on this journey with us. At intake you were likely assigned a counselor and you will need to go through an orientation which will likely be done in a big group video call.
If you don't have access to the internet, don't worry; our counselors have resources to help you get access. In the meantime, wait for your counselor to be in contact with you. They should reach out within a couple days. Of course, feel free to call us anytime, as well. We're happy to have you here.
How Does Telehealth Affect Me?
If you are an existing patient at our facility, your counselor will reach out to you to discuss the best telehealth option for you. We understand not everyone has access to the internet or cell phones and we are doing everything we can to help in these situations, but if you do have a cell phone or access to the internet, you have a few options that you may choose from.
We are currently setting up a video chat service with Zoom Video Conferencing. This will allow you to see your counselor face to face, but over a video chat
The other option is a simple phone call where you will be able to talk with your counselor over the phone and we can continue your care.
For more information, contact your counselor.
